Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in September is dedicated to encouraging hope, promoting available resources, and normalizing seeking help from others.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) 2025 Suicide Prevention Awareness Month Toolkit offers resources for spreading awareness. The toolkit includes key messages, graphics, virtual backgrounds, email signatures, hashtags and other materials to help promote Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
