
Funding Opportunity: Building Communities of Recovery
A new funding opportunity is available from SAMHSA that will mobilize and connect a variety of community-based resources to increase the availability and quality of long-term recovery support for persons with substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring substance use and mental disorders (COD). The grant recipients will be expected to support the development, expansion, delivery, and enhancement of recovery support services (RSS) directly to individuals, as well as promote and educate the community about recovery.
Eligibility
The eligibility for this funding opportunity is limited to Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs), defined as independent, non-profit organizations wholly or principally governed by people in recovery from substance use disorders and/or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders who mirror the community being served.
